Thank you so much for adding this Gerald! He was truly one of a kind and changed the way of thinking for hairdesigners forever! This video gives me chills because of his influence, sadness that he is gone and joy that he has helped make me the artist I am today!

Thank you Gerard for putting this video up. I loved his techniques and his line. I wish there were more videos of him cutting too. He changed how I cut and look at hair.

I first met John in Sydney must have been in the late 60 early 70s when he decided to go to Paris,as usual in Australia they have an identity problem,he was not recognized here, that was  one of the  reasons  for his depature.

I last saw John in 1986  in his New York salon and only found that he past in 2010 ,only because I googled his name. As far as I know no publication in this country even mention that one of the great hair cutters that started his trade in Australia and ended up world  famous had past.

Sahag was GENIUS! I wish to have known him. He used to cut one of my clients. I love to talk to her about her 'SAHAG' haircuts. I saw him cutting only once in New York.
