Yesterday was Epic. I arrived in San Diego at 9am at A Walk In Salon by Robert Cromeans. My purpose of my journey was to film a mens grooming class presented by Daniel Moses and the League of Extraordinary Stylists from Paul Mitchell. The day moved fast, and the models were a plenty. After prep, we all drove up to Chula Vista, to join Melissa Jaqua and Abe Barron for a delicious mexican food barbecue. The hospitality and conversation was amazing. Richard Britton of the League and I loaded the dishwasher like good ol boys, and back to San Diego we went to begin the class. There were well over 30 models, and even more students and stylists attending the class. As the clippers began to buzz and the scissor over comb commenced, and dark figure dressed in black, sunglasses, and his signature hat strolled in the door with a noticeable long hair japanese fellow in sunglasses, and a stunning wild, pink haired woman. Hello to Robert, Takashi, and Mary Cuomo. They stayed for the class, as I filmed and snapped photos. Having a blast. Takashi complimented my new toys. After the class was complete, the real fun began. Hung the backdrop, set up the lights and the Artistic Director for the salon, Aaron Johnson stylist Travis Smith, and graphic designer, videographer, photographer and stylist Adam Richardson began our night of film. We filmed our haircuts, creating beautiful work, some of my favorite to date, and we stayed inside the salon filming until 4:30am. Thats right, all day in the salon, all night filming. It was one of the best nights I have had. I cant thank everyone enough for their hospitality, knowledge, assistance, and support. Cant wait to release these new tracks we have been gathering. When the new section is up at
www.ocnetworkproductions.com. we will have at LEAST 7-8 BRAND NEW TRACKS. Thought I would share the experience. What a ride this is. Big Love guys, c.
