As creative people, it's not uncommon for us to feel as we've fallen into a "rut", as some might call it. After many years of trying to find the right salon, sometimes you have to experience what you don’t like to learn what you do like. I eventually learned what felt like the right fit and what did not.
My advice, if you’re not getting the right training, or feeling great about going to work, you’re not being challenged in a positive way to constantly improve your work. Move to a salon that you “LOVE!” Move on and don’t waste time. In the long run it achieves absolutely nothing to linger. Fear stops us from doing things, but sometimes you’ve just got to dive in and DO it. Take charge - look at all the things to gain rather than the things you’ll lose. It’s simple, it will work or it will not. I'm a firm believer most of the time, that you control your own destination, not others. Survival instincts kick in, as needed, and what you give, you typically recieve.
