So I've been a little quiet for a while thought I'd clue y'all in on some things that are in the works.
1. I'm London bound
I hop on a plane this Weds to embark on my first hop across the Atlantic! I'll be doing video coverage at Salon Int'l for our favorite little corner of the internet Hairbrained.me . I'm super excited for this as some of my favorite hairstylists in the world are going to be there. I hope to bring you guys some awesome backstage video and interviews from the best the industry has to offer. Sounds fun right? Probably not for Randy who is going to have to be carrying me out of the pub every night. Speaking of pubs maybe we can organize a little Hairbrained meet up at one?
2. Tim Hartley Interview and footage.
A couple weeks ago there was a hair show in my little San Diego. I had the pleasure of hanging out backstage With Tim Hartley and Tracy Hayes for three days. I managed to get a a half hour interview with Tim and about 6 hours of footage of him cutting. There was a little problem with the audio so I have a sound guy scrubbing the files now, as soon as they are clean I'll release some awesome vids of one of my favorite cutters in the world.
3. Next Short Attention Span Vid.
Next one is Nintendo themed. I was gonna shoot it tomorrow but model backed out :(
Hope to get em out on a more regular basis but Katie and I have been way busy lately (She was in Japan last week) I wanna thank everyone who shared and liked the last 2 I put out, they have almost 17,000 views between the 2 of em. Stop by www.youtube.com/joshxo and sub to my channel if you haven't yet.
I might start doing a live show again when I return from London, not the insane 3 times a week but maybe once every 2 weeks. I really am starting to miss interacting with a live audience.
Got a couple topics with rough-drafts in the works including my new outlook on life. No motivational crap just a nice solid way of looking at things. Speaking of writing for those of you interested in the shady underworld of "Graffiti" check out the book that my fellow art crew brotha, "Rafael Reyes" wrote http://www.facebook.com/LDTheBook?sk=wall it's an awesome read and well worth the 20 bucks.]
5. Sassoon Cell Phone Shoot-out.
Once again a big congrats to the winners! It was really exciting to see the images as they came in and the race for votes in the end. I will also be at the master class in Nov so see you there Sal !
Well that's about it for now folks, as I can get my self away from netflix watching "Breaking Bad" you can expect a lot more from me, maybe even a tshirt in the next couple of months. I leave you with a picture of what Charlie always looks like when he see's me leave with bags packed. Poor Babby is gonna be without me for a week while I'm in London
