How do you find your creativity??

I'm often asked how I'm able to constantly be in a creative mind-set. My answer, we all live in a creative world; the hair industry. Before I entered the hair industry I was a self-proclaimed non-artistic soul. Minus minor music training, I never considered myself an 'artist'. But what fueled the beginning of my artistic passion? EDUCATION. Our industry is FULL of educational outlets, all showing you different mind-sets, different ways to accomplish one task, out-of-the-box approaches, and solutions to common challenges. Would you agree that all those outlets are what produce creative results? I've had opportunity to train with JPMS artistic directors, Vidal Sassoon education, Bumble and Bumble educators, and it is now my goal to train with one of our industry's top creative minds, Vivianne Mackinder. Hopefully by the end of the year :)

What advantages have you taken to open up your mind to the artistic possibilities that already live in our industry??

It is a passion of mine to share my experiences in creative mind approach and have been sharing it with fellow stylists for the past year. I would now like to extend my mind-set to all you artists. Workshops that will teach creative story developement, portfolio development, how to get published and of course techniques for creative print work approach.
