- With nearly 25 years in the business, education has always been an integral part of my professional and personal growth. The last 16 years I have spent at Sine Qua Non Salons in Chicago. Along with Owner Laura Boton and Michael Davis (former Sassoon Creative Director), we have developed a comprehensive apprentice program focusing on fundamentals of haircutting and hairdressing.
In addition to our in house education, we have an Advanced Academy offering intimate workshops for stylists of all levels. Our classes are relaxed and individualized with a focus on using core technique in a creative and thought provoking way.
Staying within the Sine Qua Non ethos of "keeping it real", we only use live models for all of our classes.
In a addition to education I have a keen interest in editorial styling. My diversity of skills including cut, color and styling has never left me bored. I see life with a colorful eye on detail. My latest adventure is entering in to the world of photography.
