Thoughts on another time

Just taking a minute thinking about all of the amazing stylists that have come and gone in my time. So sad to think about John Sahag as a name from the past. Watching his memorial video brought back so many memories. And yes I do wish that there was more video on him. We could all do with more of his kind of passion for our craft!! Rest in peace John and all the Wunderkind that you blessed with a 'call' to come to meet with him in New York.

Educators 'Spirit Guide'

Today I taught my first 'real' cutting class since returning from my mentorship with Tristin Morrison. I found myself filled with the spirit of 'Tristin' going from flip chart to model and then facilitating a cutting session with the students.
I am so happy. And love teaching so much.
I know I am on the right path and have so much to look forward to!!

Have been home for two days and so far have.
Taught a class.
Done a haircut using my cutting fundamentals
Practiced on a mannequin at home.
Have had my scissors in my hand for more than an hour and watched a Stacey Broughton youtube video on how to hold your shears!
I know I know...Things I have done daily for a long time. But now I am changing it up a lot and so...
Practice makes perfect.
I can't tell you how much I believe in 'personal… Continue
