I would do a tonal cleanse for sure. It sounds as if the tones all the way around is not what she wants. Do it with hot water + Shampoo + Enlightener at the bowl. Get the root area first... Then pull into the ends. After it gets the tone out…

Did you do DRK RO??? what were the increments?
I would put the RO on the mids and ends ... depends on your formula.
Desired level ... desired tone... texture, type and density. What is the reflective tone you see.

It does make sense she sees orange. The new growth formula is for an intense formula 6R. The natural remaining pigment at a level 6 is RO. The formula needs to have a blue in it to neutralize the Orange.

(ive used 10/20 before too and dont see huge differnce in fading she is ab 15 % grey)
her ends- 40g 5+ 40g 0+ 10g dark pure base+ 2g or + 6g deep dk rr+ 2g deep lt rr
+ 45g 20 vol+ 45g cta.i used half ctahalf 20 bc she takes so dark didnt want to do all cta and thought
maybe a little cleaning from 20 would be good. she matches a 3ro swatch perfect when we are done. she has always taken color darker
but her hair is in good shape. she has a 20 month old so i dont think it could still be hormones and ive asked
ab medications n such. she said she stained a towel too. i persinally washed her twice and did botanical treatment after
color and did not see much tint in the water. i dont know if there is anything you can think of
or if it is just unexplainable but any ideas or suggestions from anybody would be cery helpful! thanks so much in advance!
