- I spent my first 8 years in the industry behind the desk enjoying the business side of things. Then I heard this brilliant man speak at Serious Business and right then and there in that room, at the ripe age of 32, I figured out what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I came home and quit my job 6 months later to go to the Aveda Institute of Cosmetology and I began my journey behind the chair. I've been doing hair now 2 years and I love what I do and how hair has the power to change lives!
