- I knew I had a great appreciation for hairdressing when I was young and heard about all MY hairdressers opportunities styling hair for music videos and the Grammys. I wanted to be her. I shoved it in the back of my mind, however, to follow my family's footsteps and going into accounting. After nabbing a receptionist job in a salon in Santa Barbara my love for hairdressing was reminded of and inspired me to attend Sassoon Academy 7 months later. Having learned hair cutting techniques by some of the best hairstylists in the world, I was taught good habits and wanted to perfect the art of cutting and color.
I am currently a stylist at Forme Salon and Spa in Santa Monica, CA. [www.formesalon.com]
In my future, I would love to be an editorial stylist working on magazine shoots, movies and tv, and fashion shows. Styling hair is one of my favorite things to do. I'm looking to work with photographers and makeup artists for trade.
