Bio: For over 25 years, Antonio Dorso has been a well respected educator,platform artist, editorial stylist, and consultant within the beauty industtry.

He brings a unique blend of both technical and artistic skill to every client he services behind the chair in the salon, as well as to both his stage and editorial work.

His training over the years has been both broad and expansive, taking in a number of disciplines, and having studied with Toni & Guy New York and London, Jon Sahag Studio, Morris Masterclass, Aveda, and Vidal Sassoon.

He is a former member of the TIGI Art Team, through Toni & Guy, and has traveled extensively doing shows and in-salon education. He is a former staff member of the prestigious Anderson-French Salon on Manhattan's Upper West Side, and Revolver Salon, Union Square, New York City.

His editorial work has graced the pages of magazines such as Nylon, Vue, and FHS, in addition to having worked with many of New York's top agencies, including I.D. Models, The Click Agency, Paulina's, and V-Model Management NY.

A specialist in loose, unstructured hair, his work is designed to embellish the hair's natural texture and free fall pattern, and give the client the absolute freedom they need from a cluttered and complicated daily hair routine.

Known specifically for his consultation skills behind the chair, each client is given whatever amount of time is necessary to determine all the essentials of lifestyle, daily routine, and time constraints that would dictate the best working hair style for them under the circumstances.

At present, in addition to his duties as a National Featured Artist for IDEN International, based out of Long Beach, Cal., he is also the acting National Technical Director for Elan Marketing And Events based out of Pasadena, California. He is currently a senior stylist with Impressa Salon, a Redken Education Center Salon based out of the Wilkes-Barre, Pa. area.
