The duties you listed sound like responsibilities for a manager. If one of your current front-desk associates shows promise and drive, why not then promote them and invest the time and resources to train them in the new areas…"

At our salon we have passed the need for "just" a check in and out, and rebooking Receptionist. there is a ned for more administarative skills, which would be, too time consuming and expensive to teach, and the skills that r needed are more college or business type. I think, One employee, with these skills is all that is needed. I am not sure if we should have this admin person in a seperate office or up front also doing checkin in and out and rebooking 1 or 2 short shifts just to fill a shift…See More
