Bio
Prominent stylist and hair designer Amy Colvin created the Fool Proof Updoing method in 2001. With over 20 years of industry experience, Amy has the ability to open the mind of a stylist and bring an innovative approach to updos. Amy’s education style is not only dynamic and exciting, but also personalized toward every individual. Her updoing philosophy becomes more inventive and creative with each student.

Amy strongly believes in education and has trained with some of the industry’s leading professionals. Seeing a lack of fundamentals-based updo courses, she created her Fool Proof Updoing program. She recognized that stylists have a fear of updos due to the lack of resources to understand them like they should. The Foolproof Updoing system literally takes guesswork out of updoing while allowing endless amounts of unique creativity to show through.

Over the years of teaching her program, she has been amazed and enchanted when watching stylists experience enlightenment through this brilliant system. Not only does this new way of thinking start a young stylist’s updoing career off soaring, but also gives seasoned stylists inspiration and passion for updoing in a whole new light.

Amy has revolutionized the updoing world and will continue to do so. What Vidal Sassoon has done for the art of cutting, Amy is doing with the art of updoing. Her passion is very apparent in her warm and approachable teaching style. She thrives on working with a stylist until they have complete confidence.

Amy teaches her hands-on workshop in-salons nationwide. Along with instructing, Amy works in a salon full time as a cutting/styling specialist.

Thanks Amy. That's really great work you are doing for the Stylists, their clients and consumers of America.

I just saw today, that one of these shady companies has gone to the drugstores with a Keratin Blowout line.

Please email to me directly all the hotlinks you have on Formaldehyde product bans and withdrawals.

Best,

Cyrus Bulsara
