Bio: Without any sugar coating, I'll openly admit that I have an ego. To an extent, it’s a show I put on for my clients. A confident stylist puts confidence in the mind of a client who is a bit timid, or has never had you do their hair before. My mantra as a stylist and my most important lesson as a teacher is that when your at work, you are on stage and should behave as such. After all, a Broadway show with a boring cast is not on Broadway very long. Having the goal of not only making the client happy while they’re in your chair, but also giving them a look that they can be proud of when they do it at home each day. A look that brings with it self-confidence that they may not have had before. Because there is nothing better than watching someone check themselves out in my mirror after I’m finished and suddenly, their head swells just a bit and my ego says to theirs, "You are welcome!" In the two years ive been in this business ive had the unfortunate luck of climbing a corporate salon ladder and jumping off over corporate bs, attacked by another corporation over a scuffle between female coworkers angry over my presence in a self proclaimed "girls only store". then i found myself working under a former Goldwell platform artist whose innovative salon was plagued by his and his wife's drug, alcohol, sex, and auto theft habits. i got out just in time to fall into a rut in a town full of nothing. Now, as my clientele explodes, i spend my days at the salon making hair fun for all types of clients and my nights at the state cosmetology school i graduated from giving back to the next generation of hair professionals. any free time i get i spend at home with my beautiful wife and my two amazing twin sons on the treasure coast of Florida.
