Expo Day 2:

Day Two is all education: We facilitate simultaneous, hands-on workshops covering aspects of successful, contemporary hairdressing, including: razor-cutting, coloring, editorial, and business-building with Nick. Tickets to attend one of the Day Two workshops are $299. Workshops take place in the morning and afternoon. One morning or afternoon session constitutes one $299 workshop. Attendees can choose to purchase a morning or afternoon workshop, or both a morning and afternoon workshop.

Day Two Workshops:

Editorial Trends

Morning Workshop: 9am - 12pm / Afternoon Workshop: 2 - 5pm

Location: LUX Salon, 318 Cherokee Ave, Suite 108, Atlanta GA 30312

Description: This editorial styling class takes inspiration from the Characterscollection, which is a feature of Expo Day One. Improve your portfolio, advance your styling and finishing techniques with clients, and craft authentic looks. A hands-on, see and do session putting you on the cutting-edge.

Facilitated by ARROJO editorial master, Amanda Jenkins

Progressive Razor-Cutting

Morning Workshop: 9am - 12pm / Afternoon Workshop: 2 - 5pm

Location: Intrigue Salon, 1314 Johnson Ferry Road, Marietta, GA 30068

This practical workshop covers razor fundamentals in the morning and advanced razor techniques in the afternoon.

Looking at how to execute layers, graduations, and one-length lines, the morning session is for inexperienced razor-cutters, or any stylist who wants to add technical precision to their own razor-cutting.

The afternoon session is the perfect progression from fundamentals to advanced. Focused on ultra-modern, trendsetting, and sophisticated razor techniques, it’s a great workshop to improve creative versatility and awareness.

Facilitated by ARROJO masters, Gerard Scarpaci and Lina Arrojo

Color Trends

Location: Shear Love Salon, 698 Cleburne Terrace, Atlanta, GA 30306

Ombre, X pattern highlighting, see-saw sectioning, hair painting, matching the fall of the color to the shape of the cut all come into the light as we teach a contemporary, client-compatible approach that crafts perfect styles, authentic colors. This see and do session also teaches how to adapt salon-friendly colors into advanced editorial looks.

Facilitated by ARROJO masters, James Edick and Abby Theis

Up Close with Nick

Morning Workshop: 9am - 12pm / Afternoon Workshop: 2 - 5pm

Location: Ellis Hotel, 176 Peachtree St NW, Atlanta, GA 30303

A unique opportunity to take two different, but equally vital, seminar sessions with Nick Arrojo.

In the morning, Nick conducts a business and brand building class. Using insights from turning ARROJO from a six-chair salon into a multi-award-winning, multifaceted brand inside ten years, this is the inside track on improving growth and profitability, reward and success in your own business.

In the afternoon, Nick facilitates a hands-on cutting class. You practice Nick’s signature skills –– razor bob, swing bangs, advanced undercutting –– while under the supervision of the pioneer of these trailblazing techniques.

Facilitated by Nick Arrojo

Please Note: For Up Close with Nick, you may purchase a morning-only workshop ticket for $299, or an all-day Up Close with Nick ticket for $550. You cannot purchase afternoon-only Up Close with Nick tickets.

I have never worked for Van Michael Salon but have enjoyed several classes taught by current and former employees. I love the idea that raising the bar across the industry can improve your business locally. So many people get so caught up just working their little piece of the pie that they miss the bigger picture. Thanks guys!!!!
