Lets here from Steve who initiated the discussion. Typically those of us on boards like this represent the part of the industry that practices these things. That is why we live and breathe educationand service and spend our time writing to each other. BUt, after traveling and teaching over 3000 classes nationwide I have seen the lack of these things. For example, take tabathas Salon Takeover, I cant tell you how many salons like those I have encountered in my travels. Its is very sad and all too common.

I don't feel that way, I spend my time giving my all to my client and making sure when they leave they are happy and excited about their experience in my salon. It's not easy teaching this to some stylists, but they are watching me and I know they are learning. They see how my book is filled. What makes it that way is the treatment the client got, and in turn the client sends in all there friends.

Ok, lets begin. We all need the indsutry. Welness and adornment is as ancient as man himself yet a vital part of our being. As an industry we fall short of actually giving that due to lack of education and skills. In order to give wellbeing salon professionals need to have skills and customer service to provide these aspects of the service. Too many salon clients/guests come in with anxiet andleave with anxiety, why? That si not wellness. Lets here from you.
