Comment by shavonne fortini on February 24, 2012 at 5:34pm I just did my friends hair. I usually just do a partial. When I first started doing her hair I did a foil and color in between then after that just foils. So I just got done with her hair we did a partial and I put 3/4 6n 1/4 6g in between and when all said in done it looks kinda muddy almost grey even. What can I do to fix it?
Comment by Cheryl J. English on June 15, 2011 at 11:25am This is for the Davines colorist. I'm curious about the tones that may be added to bleach. What is the chemistry behind this. If your bleach contains persulfates they eat pigment and they can't distinguish between artificial and natural pigment. How does it make chemical sense to mix a tone into a persulfate bleach?
Comment by Steven Fitzpatrick on June 12, 2011 at 9:38am Hey Johnea,
I know this is in response to an old post but the milk proteins and the fact that Mask color has a neutral pH when it's done processing is why the hair feels so good just after you rinse out the color.
