How do you keep up with new styles and cuts? Hair shows are great, but they aren't as often as we'd all like them to be, and sometimes they aren't easy to get to. Do salon owners individually work…Continue

Hey all! New to Hairbrained and excited to be a part of the community. I work with a company called Hair Construction, working to help salons and stylists be more successful through instructional videos and self-branding. Check out this clip so you can see what our videos are all about:

Great week focused on the growth indicators of salon success, the discussions shared here are literally like going to college for a salon owner degree... most of us had to learn this through making some serious and expensive mistakes and miss steps, some of us never figured it out and failed or are getting an ass kicking in business every day.

Dig in and ask questions, get involved and own your success!

Thanks Gerard! The hardest thing is keeping me quiet! Watch what you wish for... ;) Thank you for inviting me to Hairbrained. I'm so passionate about the industry and helping people grow. I am sure to learn as much from everyone else as they learn from my experiences. That's what community is all about.

Hi Edwin. I hope you don't mind me jumping in here.  You should look in to Meevo. It’s absolutely worth the investment  for what it will provide. I actually think a Windows tablet, like a Surface is a better choice. They have more robust processors, and full size USB ports for POS equipment connections. Check it out online at meevo.com and feel free to message me with questions.

Hi Kevin, I'm an independent contractor I rent my station. The salon I work at is employee commission so I have the luxury of a full time receptionist. Is it worth the investment to use Millennium just for me? also will Millennium work on an iPad? Thanks Edwin
