I would love to see the Aveda network embrace and promote the book THE SALON INDUSTRY BUSINESS ARTIST. It is not only written by an Aveda color director but it holds many similar ideas to that of Business College and Aveda minset. As more and more peopel read the book they are very happy with the content, BTC is negociating with me to add this book to their catalog. I have spoken at many schol sna deven contacted Aveda burt sadly my own network shows little to no interest. Lets beef it up guys and make it happen. www.haircolorartist.com

Carol,
I am a student at the Aveda Institute Dallas and We just did this same thing to my hair only we got it to a level 6 y/o v/b.

What we did first was enlightner/shampure/20v. My hair, which was at a level 2 still wasn't lifting as we wanted it to. Then without rinsing, we added enlightner/shampure/40v.
My hair really started to lift more with the rubbing. To get it even lighter we covered it in foil and a towel and ran the blow dryer over it for a few minutes.
Hope this helps!
