Looking for new salon software offering ipad/iphone app options to view and edit schedules. Have been using SalonBiz for over 5 years and their upgrade has cost a fortune and their ipad app has never worked for us since we've had it. Their customer service is impossible. Need an easy switch too, can't handle the stress of losing customers from switching software companies. If they don't make it easy to transfer customer information and our current schedule, may not be an option right now. Currently pay $250.00 for SalonBiz montly plus an extra $100.00 per month for the internet upgrade we needed for them to give us the ipad app option. They do not offer an iphone app option.

Any recommendations and pricing information? Thanks so much.

you should look into Apples STX program.. not sure of the price but I worked with it for years. If used to its potential it can really do a lot of things! and as you are asking, it does pair with stylists iPhones/ipads as well..  very easily

Good luck!

Hi Jannel check out all this which of them good for you ....

  • MILLENNIUM SALON SOFT...
  • MINDBODY
    • Access Anywhere, Anytime - View schedules and monitor staff performance even from your iPhone or iPad.
    • Get Creative - Explore new opportunities like rewards points, ecommerce, social deals, and automated emails.
    • One-of-a-kind Customer Service - Get help from dedicated experts at no additional cost. You're never alone.
  • Salon IRIS                                                                                                                                                   We know that choosing the right software for your business can be tough. That's why we offer multiple editions of Salon Iris to provide the best match for your business. Choose the edition and the pricing that is the right fit for you. Best of all, you can always upgrade to a higher edition of Salon Iris when you grow and you only pay the difference in price.

Having used most of the major software brands out there (and grant it, there are some very good ones), I think the key thing here is not so much a matter of which one is better, but rather, which one is best for YOU...and how your particular salon functions, what your needs are, etc.,......however, that being said, I will tell you that hands down, in my opinion, the absolute best one, AND,...I might add, the MOST USER FRIENDLY ONE, is Salon Iris......I am using Iris about two years now, and have really grown to love it....its like it "speaks" to me, I swear.  Because we are a small salon, we dont have a reception coordinator, and as such our assistants usually handle the phone / appts., and its almost as if Salon Iris is the "invisible" member of the staff......Love it !!!

I'm going to jump in here and say that Millenium has been a huge pain, and I spent about 2 hours just trying to get the remote schedule program (the part of the software that lets you see your schedule on a computer/ipad/etc) to work.

Seriously annoying. Makes me want to look at software with an actual app for your iphone/ipad.

Try Vagaro, it is 85 $ monthly, for us work great! Good luck!

Has anyone used Schedulicity?  Would love any feedback if you liked/didn't like it.  Thanks!

I did the free trial and it could be worth it if you have stylists who are new/not busy or if you are just opening a new salon and need customers and are very wide open. If you're already busy, then it's not a useful tool. It was letting people schedule any day/time they want and did not inform me and then we had people showing up at random days/times saying that Schedulicity told them that their appointment was confirmed. Not cool!

Thanks for the info!  Good to know!

I have used Schedulicity for 2 years now and love it.  I work for myself and don't have a receptionist so it saves me a lot of time.  My clients are so used to scheduling online that I only have to answer the phone a few times a day.  Its $19 a month and their customer service is amazing.

at www.salonsOPEN.com, you get instant text notifications as owner and the stylist doing the service.  Also, the platform automatically stays in touch with your clients before the appointment with text reminders, thank you notes after, birthday, holidays, and even clients who have not booked in a while.  And fully automated saving you time.  The ipad and iphone apps in the the works, but the platform is responsive to screen size and fits properly in both.

Hi, I've been using StyleSeat.com they have an awesome iPhone app as well as a number of free tools like online booking and text reminders. I loved their customer service, they helped me easily transfer my client info and integrated my previous scheduling system!
