Have you heard of the scissor block? It is a block to rest your shears point down in its proper positon. Made from recylced plastics or wood. The rc plastic can be santatized and dish washer safe and wood is cared for like your make up brushes. check it out www.scissorblock.com
just got the Limited edition Bumble+feather razor, this has been eagerly awaited .It is essentialy the plier with a wooden handle. To be positive lets start with the pros,it has a nice balance and if you are looking for something other then the basic black handle of the plier for some flash it does look diferent. Unfortunately the wood handle has an odd non descript finish to it and lacks the beauty of a well finished and stained piece of wood and it is also a little wider then the standard plier handle making it somewhat uncomfortable between the fingers. It is also priced at $210 with shipping and no blades included, maybe a bit overpriced considering the lack of beauty in the wood
I just got a new razor from Taize Shears. A nifty little razor and a 100 pack of derby blades, only $13.00 I am not saying this is the best razor(it is not). but hell replacement blades are $5 per 100 pack and the are very high quality blades(I almost cut my thumb off :) Hard to pass up 5 Cents a blade and it works just like any other razor.

Oh PS the taize shears look like junk
I love my window next to my chair, freakin' amazing, not only do I get to be onstage all day but I get to watch the unbelievabel show walking by all day, sometimes praying to myself, "Please don't be my next guest!". It is the best marketing tool I have ever had.
I heard about this razor! Do you know where you can purchase one or do you have to be part of the Bumble and bumble network to buy one? I would love to own one......cheers! Kevin
Look for the new CHI Made in USA, I have seen prototypes on the line in Houston at their plant. I gotta say I am very impressed. I think CHI lost some ground when they used a china plant. But this new stuff is freakin awesome and the are the only company besides FHI(Korea) to make their own flat irons. All the those other companies are just marketing someone else's technologies. Hell anyone with a little cash can come out with your line of flat irons. OEM minimum order is only a 1000 pcs. But to earn my dollars you need electrical engineers on staff and about a million dollars for R&D. I want the best and I am willing to pay for it.
Has anyone here played around with the "wishbone" looking curling iron that Rsession tools released? I'm curious to know what people's thoughts on it are...
I love my scissorblock too! So much that I gave one to each of my prote'ge' program graduates this year! What a great step up for all of us!

Hello Nicole,

You can try our DH Leto or Venus Shears that are angled at a 30 - 45 degree angle and that allow for your shoulder and elbow to have a relaxed tension free placement when cutting hair. These are the types of shears that will work to reduce fatigue while cutting. Our Shears are all Japanese & Hand Crafted. You may visit us at www.dianathehunter.com and click on the icon that says DH Scissors. Thanks and have a great day!
Check out shear world , and usually a off-set shear is better the wrist
