Hello Gerard,

I wanted to get some feedback from you on our DH Matrix Ceramic Irons and our DH Scepter Ceramic Curling Irons. I am the manufacturer and wanted to see if you have ever had a chance to use these tools since alot of Aveda Educators use our tools. Thanks in advance for your straight answer and any insight you can give us. Have a great day!

Kind Regards, Michael
I love my FHI runway. Best I have had yet.
Croc by turboion
i have used a lot of irons, and by far this is the best iron out there.
Hotter is better, and the FHI are the hottest(450 degrees F, compared to a CHI at 386 degrees F). FHI is the retail arm of a large OEM company called NJ Electronics out of Korea www.nje.co.kr These guys make a lot of the high end flat irons sold by other so called manufactures. The FHI brand has sorta come out of no where and is beginning to dominate this market. I like this line because the products just don't break, they have great plates and although they manufacture for other companies they keep the best technologies for themselves.
I've been using the ghd iron. Not too pricey (125 salon cost) and has an even heating element throughout the plates, so you don't have to iron each section multiple times. Nice iron for the money.
My ghd has become my best friend!!!! I love the beveled edge and the even heating element. Everyone in my salon is constantly borrowing it because they have had some trouble with the TIGI irons. They seem to be burning out fairly easily for as much as we use them. And knowing myself, I really like that it has an automatic shut off, because throughout the day that is a major fault of mine.
Paul Mitchell Pro Tools Express Ion Style 1.0 is what I use and love!
Me too, it is my absolute FAVORITE! I do like the 1.25 too though and use it at home! Their flat irons are phenomenal. I absolutely adore all of the Paul Mitchell Pro Tools!
My GHD styler is amazing quick and easy on all types of hair also the new paul mitchell flat iron is awesome, i use one at home and one in the salon !
allen - have you used the croc 2? i heard good things about the original croc titanium model, so i decided to try the new croc 2. i had one that lasted 4 months before the temperature control broke. i would turn the iron on, and it would heat up insanely fast until it was all the way at max, would beep and flash "err" and then turn itself off.
i decided to give it a second shot and replaced it, because the iron itself, while still functioning correctly, was amazing. the second one only lasted a week. same problem.
corioliss c2 best i ever had
